Mohamed Elhadary

Dr. Mohamed Elhadary is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian with a diverse international background in veterinary medicine. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Alexandria University in Egypt in 2009 and has since practiced in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, bringing more than 17 years of clinical experience to his patients and their families. 

In April 2026, Dr. Elhadary joined Jeffersonville Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian and is excited to serve the pets and families of Sullivan County, a community he recently made his home. He is passionate about building strong relationships with pet owners and providing personalized care that combines the best of conventional veterinary medicine with an open-minded, integrative approach when appropriate. 

Dr. Elhadary has special interests in internal medicine, dermatology, and diagnostic imaging. He believes in evidence-based medicine while recognizing the value that certain complementary and holistic therapies may offer as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. His goal is to work closely with pet owners to develop individualized care strategies that support both the immediate and long-term health of their pets. 

Known for his thorough approach, commitment to client education, and clear communication style, Dr. Elhadary strives to ensure that every client understands their pet’s condition and treatment options. He is dedicated to making veterinary visits informative, collaborative, and as stress-free as possible for both pets and their families. 

Prior to joining Jeffersonville Animal Hospital, Dr. Elhadary practiced in several veterinary hospitals throughout New Jersey, New York City, and Staten Island; where he gained extensive experience in small animal medicine, surgery, preventive care, and emergency medicine. His international experience has provided him with a broad perspective on veterinary care and strengthened his commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth. 

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Elhadary values cultural diversity and enjoys connecting with clients from a variety of backgrounds. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the natural beauty of Sullivan County and the Catskills, pursuing continuing education opportunities, and staying current with advancements in both conventional and integrative veterinary medicine. 

Dr. Elhadary looks forward to helping the pets of Jeffersonville and the surrounding communities live longer, healthier, and happier lives through compassionate, individualized care.
