Jeffersonville Animal Hospital Welcomes Dr. Heather Roeder

Jeffersonville Animal Hospital Welcomes Dr. Heather Roeder
July 27, 2026

We are excited to welcome Dr. Heather Roeder back to Jeffersonville Animal Hospital and the community she has always called home.

Dr. Roeder's connection to our hospital began long before veterinary school. While growing up, she worked at Jeffersonville Animal Hospital, where she first discovered her passion for veterinary medicine. She went on to attend Hamilton College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Ethics before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

As a certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian, Dr. Roeder has professional interests in public health, epidemiology, client education, and helping families better understand and care for their pets. She is especially excited to return to a rural practice and serve the people, animals, and community that helped shape her journey into veterinary medicine.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Roeder enjoys hiking, biking, reading science fiction and fantasy novels, playing video games, and spending time with her family and three cats.

We are proud to welcome Dr. Roeder home and are excited for our clients and patients to get to know her. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Heather Roeder to the Jeffersonville Animal Hospital team!
